I am trained in systemic and social constructionist counselling.
My approach is grounded in systemic thinking and Complexity Theory.
Numerous individuals and organisations have granted me the privilege of supporting them in uncovering their own resources and talents, and in enhancing their decision-making and self-determination skills.
Counselling aids in facilitating, accompanying, enabling, and clarifying. It plays a crucial role in balancing private and professional life, aligning role demands with personal traits, and assisting in navigating the complexities of both life and organisational dynamics.
Counselling in the Workplace
As a Counsellor, I operate within companies using a social constructionist approach.
Counselling is crucial in addressing situations of deadlock or significant change and helping people to navigate through critical and complex stages in the lives of both individuals and organisations.
The ultimate aim of counselling in a corporate setting is to ensure that individuals engage in their work consciously and maturely, taking ownership of their professional journey and the actions/abilities demanded by their role.
Counselling covers:
Leadership and the mindful management of one's professional role
Resolving interpersonal conflicts
Facilitating awareness of the impacts of interpersonal communication
Difficulty in taking autonomous action and making decisions
Resistance to change
The growth and empowerment of workgroups.
Counselling for Family Businesses
Systemic counselling is particularly useful in assisting family businesses during generational transitions,
or more precisely, during generational coexistence.
In a family business, it is necessary to help the family understand their dynamics
at different levels of context: the 'family system' and the 'business system' level.
The Leadership of Complexity
In the context of leadership, systemic thinking assists us in concentrating on Complexity Leadership:
giving us the capacity to guide and make decisions while manoeuvring through uncertainty, doubt,
and the impossibility of unilateral control.
Complexity Leadership harnesses emotions, especially uncomfortable ones, alongside self-awareness which is crucial for action and
decision-making.
